You're most welcome, Gerry. I'm glad you're enjoying the book.
My current 'discovery' is nothing to do with food, but it's fascinating. 'Black Diamonds' by Catherine Bailey - it's all about Wentworth Woodhouse, not that far from us, the story of the downfall of the Fitzwilliam family, one of England's great aristocratic dynasties. They made their money from coal but then things went badly wrong! We drove down to Wentworth last week as they have a good garden centre & a brand new caf&"233;/restaurant. I got chatting to the lovely lady clearing tables & discovered that she & her husband own all that zone! She said she'd read the book twice & loved it.

Sounds fascinating, Elpe. I did read one poor review of it, but that was by Roy Hattersley!
