Dilemma - I would like to make Delia's leek and butternut squash soup but as I am serving a bruschetta accompaniment for my main course 9and cannot change that), what would make a good soup accompaniment as I don't want to use bread twice? Many thanks !
Wouldn't it be nice just without the bread? Instead, maybe minute dumplings added so it would be different but not too filling?
What a great idea ! Seasonal mini dumplings, perhaps with chestnuts or a few gnocchi. What do you think ?
Sounds great, early bird. Not that I've ever made either, always meant to though.
They are only potato so how hard can they be? Ha ha ha ...famous last words....I know!I'll buy a standby Italian ready-made pack just in case. My challenge this winter is to cook using UK produce only and as locally sourced as possible.
