The Girl On The Landing

Just finished the above, by Paul Torday. It's fairly good as a light read. Couldn't figure out at first what period it was set in, with people smoking using cigarette holders, gentlemen's clubs, stag hunting etc - all very 1920's Agatha Christie. But not as good as his earlier book Salmon Fishing in the Yemen. I'd be interested to hear from anyone else who's read it.
