Anyone read the above and if so, what did you think?

My Sister's Keeper....

No, Dolly, haven't read it but I looked at the synopsis & some of the reviews on Amazon and now I want to know how it ends as some people seem to think that was a let down. I'd quite like to read it now - there's a film too. Are you reading it at the mo?

My Sister's Keeper....

No I haven't, and in fact the synopsis put me off.

My Sister's Keeper

I read it for my Book Club . Did not like it one little bit but had to read to the end to find out what happened . I felt Jodi Picult was on a mission and was trying to stir up contraversy . But don't forget she is an American and things that happened in the US would not necessarily happen here where the law is concerned .
If you do decide to read whatever you do don't look at the end first (I know some people do ) cos it is a real --well I won't spoil it for those that want to read it .

My Sister's Keeper

I love American authors and read this book some years ago. I've not seen the film yet, but the book was very good. The problem I find is if that you read the book before you see the film (if they are doing one), it is a big let down because imagination does so much, plus when you are watching a film after reading the book, you are waiting for things to be different. Hmmm, that's my say after a bit (!) of wine. G x

My sister's keeper

Haven't seen the film but I v.much enjoyed the book, it posed an interesting conundrum - must say I was on the side of the younger sister (can't remember their names)
