The Midwife's Confession

On holiday at the moment... finished this a couple of days ago. Strange book, not sure if I actually liked it or not! Has anyone else read it?

Just started The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox by Maggie O'Farrell which I am enjoying so far.

The Midwife's Confession

Haven't read the Midwife, Noreen, but I really enjoyed Esme Lennox, perhaps because I know Edinburgh so well. My current read is Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese and I just don't want to put it down. Most of the characters are medics and it's set in India, Ethiopia and America. Fab story which I won't give away except to say there are reviews and a summary on the web!

The Midwife's Confession.

Yes, I read it a while ago on my kindle. I suppose it was a rather an odd story, but to be honest, I couldn't put it down........I just had to know how it all finally panned out. I have a couple more of her books too but alas haven't got round to them yet.
